Are you this way,forgetful?

While on a road trip, an elderly couple stopped at a roadside restaurant for lunch. After finishing their meal, they left the restaurant and resumed their trip.

When leaving, the elderly woman unknowingly left her glasses on the table and she didn't miss them until they had been driving about twenty minutes.

By then, to add to the aggravation, they had to travel quite a distance before they could find a place to turn around, in order to return to the restaurant to retrieve her glasses.

All the way back, the elderly husband became the classic grouchy old man. He fussed and complained and scolded his wife relentlessly during the entire return drive. The more he chided her, the more agitated he became. He just wouldn't let up one minute.

To her relief, they finally arrived at the restaurant. As the woman got out of the car and hurried inside to retrieve her glasses, the old man yelled to her, "While you're in there, you might as well get my hat and the credit card."

ha ha ha :) That sounds like my parents!

i am 4getful just not that 4getful

sometimes i can be forgetful

lol well I can understand since their old ya know but Im forgetable just not like that well...actually maybe once or twice that has happened

haha. yeah. i was outside of my apartment with my bf putting a new tire on my car, so i put the keys down by the tire to try to help him out. later as we were walking into the building, i realized i didnt have my keys. we jumped in his car and went back to his house (20 min away) back to my parents house (15 min away) and even back to the restaruant we were at and he had to check through the garbage and nothing. we then followed all the roads exactly to see if i could find it and tore his car apart to see if i had left it there when we went to get the new tire. giving up, we go back to the apartment and there were my keys, right next to my car...


moral of the story: college and full-time work can make you a bit forgetful

I am not that forgetful. However its a good joke.

i have my times, but i hope i dont ever get to be that forgetful.
