Will you read and rate my semi-true story???

One day Renaldo the elephant was walking through the jungle when all of the sudden Mike Huckabee jumped out from a bush with a lightsaber and threatened the elephant saying ,"No Democrat shall pass through this jungle!!"
The elephant said, "Just because i'm an elephant doesn't mean I'm a Democrat. I happen to be an independent". Huckabee shot the elephant and said, "Independent schmindependent". Huckabee went back to his treehouse to eat his Fruity Pebbles and to listen to his new Alicia Keys CD that he burned.

...and yes I know he had the lightsaber, but he also had a gun in his boot that he shot the elephant with.

Well, as a writer, I have to say it wasn't funny, wasn't suspenseful. I don't know what the point was. The why is kind of vague. Keep trying.
