Run a Google search on the lyrics you heard- and use Lyrics as one of your key words.

There is a site called one hit wonder.com one hit wonder central. The people on that site are masters at helping people find songs. If you can hum a few bars, use your computers MIC to record yourself, then put the sound file on a file storage host site, then copy the link and paste it in your post with some of the lyrics you know. I guarantee someone will know it.
