haha no this is not about a pedophile, someone asked Dave about the song on an interview i saw a while back and it's just about the fantasy's of a fifteen year old kid, and the magic of that time. However i can see where you would think that it does sound a little perverted.

what makes you think it's about a pedophile? That is a great song! Why couldn't it be about a guy that likes a girl? I never would have thought it was about a pedophile until you mentioned it.

Not really about a pedophile, but it seems to me to be more about a peeping tom. Most people who like this song really don't understand it though. They think its a sweet little love song without actually listening to the lyrics.
