How many are shocked to find out that...?

Third Eye Blind's song "Semi-charmed Kinda Life" is a reference to drugs...Crystal Meth to be exact??? I never knew that!!! I don't like the song anymore!

For anyone that doesn't realize it...I JUST read the lyrics..I never knew ALL of the lyrics. So to find out that it mentions crystal meth was quite the shock..my 12 year old listens to that song and sings the chorus and thank GOD he is just as clueless as me. Even if it's about helping someone through an addiction, I'd rather him not be exposed to that in music. Sometimes I'm glad to be naive ..lol

One of my favorite things about songs like that
is that an early KIDZ BOP cds has kids singing The Goo Goo Dolls "Black Balloon" which is about herion.

I knew that, but I think it's about helping someone with the addiction.

ummm, yeah the song refers to drugs quite a bit.
i'm not really shocked at that, more by the number of people that don't know that.
