Do fashion magazines only pick students for their internships?

I have a plan for going back to school and Im trying to get my facts together so I will know what to expect when the time comes to start applying fo r internships. Do I really need to wait until I go back to school to apply for these internships at these fahsion magazines ?

Typically, yes. But, if you're planning on going back to school, they may make an exception. You have to interview for an internship, just like you would for a regular job. So, look poise and wow them. They usually use students because students will do just about anything for little or no pay just to gain experience. Good luck!

You can apply but yes, they typically look for students. This shows a bit of commitment on the intern's part and tests their ability for multi-tasking. I worked at YM back in the day and we always looked for students.
