i have written some short stories and wanted to know where i can send them, magazines would be better but i am having trouble finding where and who i can get in touch with. or a list of magazines that will accept these kind of stories

I highly recommend the book "The 2007 Writer's Market". I have it. It's a great resource if you're a freelance writer wanting to get your work published.

It gives you a variety of listings for publications, websites, magazines, etc. I just suggest if you do this, write a query letter first.

Do a websearch for the magazine you're wanting to submit them to. Most adult mags have methods which people can submit stories to them. If you can't find it online, go buy the magazine you're interested in. The address and/or website information should be inside on the contents page.

Try the Sunday press, News of The World etc. it's what they live for
