Should we judge a women by the cover of a magazine?

In the front cover of prima magazine, it has big quotes like, 'Lose weight', 'gain energy with our amazing 3-day diet.' It has all these negative quotations, why?

if you let someone judge in such a way then yes....

Issues like that help sell magazines. People think that all those things work but the only way to lose weight is to go to the gym.

Well we judge every other book in this world by it's cover, and thats what the magazine people are counting on. If poeple really knew what crap was in the middle of those things then nobody would buy them.

no way ! they photo shop them so even the skinny beautiful models need to be Skinner or prettier god its annoying ! :D

Yes! If they didn't want to be judged, then they wouldn't be on the cover of the magazine.

And before people say anything about people being photographed and just being put on there without knowledge. If you choose to be famous, or go into the career or down that path, you know cameras are going to constatnly be around, you know you are going to be photographed, be put on tv, the internet and magazines. You chose that life. No sympathy.

probably because there are more overweight people in this country than any other country. americans are obsessed with food and weight loss.

Because in Hollywood Land everyone should be a size 2. Its so silly if someone wants to lose weight they know how. They are wasting space in the magazine as far as I am concerned. The average woman in the united states in 5''5 and 163lbs. If a woman wants to lose weight she will, it doesnt need to be on the front of almost all magazines. Anyhow womanly curves are sexy. For example Mandy Moore I have seen her in sizes 7-12 and she is hot!! Kira Knightly although has a pretty face....no shape.
