Hefner is still around. He's now 81 years old. His daughter Christie is the chairman and CEO of Playboy Enterprises, so one would think she's doing more of the day-to-day operations.

yes he is still alive and kicking. he is in his 80's now. he is still actively running the playboy empire. i bet you'll wish you where like that old fart when you reach your 80's, if you do.

Yes, he is 81 years old. He is still the Editor-in-Chief of the Playboy Magazine and supposedly has no intention of retiring. He is doing great in heath, probably due to the amount of vigorous sexual intercourse he does on a daily basis. Must be nice! ;]

He's still alive...a few of his playmates (and Hugh) have their own TV show called "The Girls Next Door"...don't remember the channel though. He's in his 80s I believe.
