I can think of one particular photographer whose work I like even though he's no longer living. His name is George Hurrell and he took photos of movie stars from Hollywood's Golden Age. His subjects always looked glamorous. I prefer that type of photography to many of the styles I see today where celebrities are posed in rather ridiculous situations or they just plain look ugly in their shots.
