I'm a subscriber to many magazines and when I receive them in a damaged condition....?

I always ask for a replacement....sometimes a replacement of every single issue. Today I got an e-mail from one of the magazines and they say that I have been asking for too many replacements. Too many! Aren't I entitled to ask for how many replacements I want....I think it is my right as a subscriber...I paid for those subscriptions, they were not free. What do you think?

I think you have the right to request anything you want... but they also have the right to refuse. Some people just try to get one over on companys like that and get something (ie: a free extra issue) for nothing. I'd try calling the company and telling them that you keep getting your magazines in damaged condition. That's not their fault I'm sure, probably has something to do with the postal system... but they might understand better. Also try going to your local postal office to file a complaint.

i have 4 or 5 magazine subscriptions and mine are NEVER damaged, how come yours are? Talk to your post office about it!

They might feel you are taking advantage of them. You could offer to send digital pictures of the damaged magazines.

Could it be your mailbox....do you live in an apartment where your mailbox does not accommodate magazines? Then it isn't fair to expect the publisher to replace damaged magazines.

yes you are right to get a replacement but they might think you a just trying to get a other one for free and give it to someone. do they ask you to send the magazines back just to make sure, but then again you have no idea untill you open it up and find that it's wrecked

Magazine companies keep statistics on lost deliveries, damaged copies, they keep averages, you probably exceeded their average. Most people will not usually request a replacement.

you shouldn't replace a magazine just if the cover is a little wrinkled. Only replace them if some pages are missing
