Do you work for a magazine?

I'm only 14 but am intrested in workng for a magazine in later life. But i don't really know what it requires and what working for a magazine is like. Short answers and long answers will be much appreciated. =]

Aside from gaining a journalism degree, you need to be a good writer. You need to have things you like to write about, there are millions of different kinds of magazines out there. But first of all you have to enjoy reading.
Try joining your school paper, and see how good you do.
And remember, it takes a lot of confidence and hard work to get to the top...but it does pay off in the end.

ok well personally get magazine that are for like 16 yrs old cause the younger ones like for 14 are abit boring.

No I don't work for a magazine, but I run and online one. All the girls that work for my online magazine (sometimes referred to as a webzine) are all about your age. (14, 15) They all like writing and none of them have any works published or anything. They are all just friends of mine. If you would like to check it out, the link is listed as my source.
