-Thank you

this is for a research project and i still dont have enough information
please answer!
-Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both among the books and the movies my favorite is "the goblet of fire". But if I compare the books and the movies, I find the books better but the Quiddich matches were brilliant in the films... (It made me visualize the whole game in a better way...)

I loved Prisoner of Azkaban for the book and movie :)

i like the books more because they have more action and they help you to understand the plots better. i have read all of the books and seen all of the movies. my fav is probably number 4 and number 7

I've read all the books like 10 times and seen all the movies also numerous times. The books are definately better than the movies, but that's usually the case. My favorite book was The Half-Blood Prince and my favorite movie was probably The Prisoner of Azkaban.

well the last book was ausome and i'll give you a list of books from best to worst that i like:
deathly hollows.
order of the phoenix
prisonar of askaban
goblet of firesorcerors stone
chamber of secrets

in the movies catagoies so far;
goblet of fire
prsoner of askaban
chamber of secrets
sorcerers stone
order of the phoenix

but thats what i thinl . othe people may have other ideas so don't disagree with me please

Well hey there! Gosh I would love to do that project because I am a Harry Potter ADDICT!!! Having read all of the books, I would have to say that Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite. First, I like it because Sirius Black (Harry's godfather) is my favorite character and he is first introduced in this movie. I love it! AND, it is the movie that follows the closest with the book. It leaves very minimal things out, which I appreciate. My favorite book would have to be Deathly Hallows. It is such an intense book. Tonk and Lupin are married. Harry, Ron, and Hermione are looking for and destroying Voldemort's Horcruxes. The relationship with Ron and Hermione is budding. The best part of the book would have to be the chapter on Snape's memories where we see that he has been in love with Lily (Harry's Mom) all his life. It is such a sweet chapter! Yes there is alot of death in the book, but there must be deaths in war! I love it 19 years later when Harry and Ginny are married and Ron and Hermione are married and are sending their children to Hogwarts. They are so good! But the books are definately better. They tell the whole story. If you only watch the movies and don't read the books, you will miss out on so much of the story!

The books are leagues better than the movies. Even the author herself said so. She said, and I agree, that she could put more details and longer storylines in books. Movies don't have half the material in the books, otherwise it would be twelve hours long.
My favorite is the last one, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Obviously it tied up all the loose ends. It also provides a lot of contrasts and parallels among the characters. It shows that the three main characters in the book series is not Harry, Ron and Hermione but Harry, Voldemort and Dumbledore.

The books are better. There is just too much information in them to make a proper movie within the time constraints. A lot of people were disappointed with the most recent film, "The Order of the Phoenix", because it was the longest book and the shortest movie - a lot was left out.

My favorite book was "The Half-Blood Prince." Thus far, my favorite movie has been "The Goblet of Fire." I'm due to rewatch them all, though.

I have read all the books numerous times - they are my favorite reading material! I have also seen all the movies. To me the books were better than the movies just because there was so much more plot and character development. My favorite book is Goblet of Fire. My favorite movie was Prisoner of Azkaban. Alfonso Cuaron is an amazing director and I wish he was directing the 6 and 7th ones!!
Good luck on your project :)

I like the books a lot better then the movies. There is more information and more detail in the books then what you get in the movies. By far my favorite book is Deathly Hollows.

I've read the books and seen all the films so far. In general, I think that the books are better than the films - there is only so much detail that you can fit into two hours of screen time. The one exception, I think, is the Order of the Phoenix - I liked the film better than the book. I thought there was way too much time spent describing how Dolores Umbridge messed up the school in the book.

My favorite film and book are 'The Prisoner of Azkaban'. I really liked the story a lot and I loved the way the film was directed and shot.

Hope this helps you out - good luck on your project!

the books are by far better

I've read all books and watched all movies up to now.
Books are better, as book is almost always better than the movie.
Favourite book is HP & Deathly Hallows.
Favourite movie is HP & Prisoner of Azkaban.

I don't know if your still looking for answers or not but oh well,
the books are by far better then the movies!
My favourite book is 3 but the best movie is 4 but the movies are still way to different to the books if you ask me
