Is it worth watching 'aaja nachle'?

Yes, it is. I don't understand why people use terms like "flop" and "did badly in the box office" to answer this question - as if box office numbers have ever been an indication of how good a film is. It only indicates how many people went to see the movie and how could you possibly know if it is good if you haven't seen it. The reason people didn't go out to see this is because idiots like Taran Adarsh give it a bad rating based on how they think it will do at the box office. That's not how you review a film! And people just check the rating thinking reviewers are going to do their job and decide not to see it. I loved this film because it represented so much of why we watch Hindi films and what we love about them (optmism, music, dance, Indian heritage). It is also incredibly progressive about the role of women. I loved Dia, she's an incredibly strong woman who knew what she wanted and went for it. So, go see for yourself. I think you'll enjoy :)

PS- I think men will enjoy it too. My dad absolutely loved it and he's been recommending it to people all over the place.

PPS- If you are someone who feels their tastes are reflected in a film's popularity, this info might be interesting to you. This week, collections have picked up (esp. in the UK) despite the bad reviews by bad reviewers because of good word-of-mouth. That's a sign of a good film :)

yes! totally loved the dances. the songs are very nice. madhuri looks old but its still good

Depends upon your taste and what sort of movies you prefer. If you want someone else's opinion, your best bet is to read the reviews appearing in newspapers.

There is succha small story followed in the while movie the any active person will just be found jerking in the theatre!
the only attraction of the movie is Madhuri Dixit.
Without her appearance the movie must have been "down the drain"..............................!

if u love good dances and are a fan of madhuri, you must watch this movie. Madhuri.... even after this 5 -6 yrs break and 2 sons has managed a fantastic figure and looks very lively and fresh. The dancing has become all the more effortless and beautiful.

This is a very good movie, must watch as madhury is always best with the best performance.
