How realistic was Chak De India?

Not saying that it wasn't a good movie.I liked it very much but i just felt it wasn't realistic and it had that thing called the Indian movie tinge..
The movie was great.No doubt.And our teams too did well........But haven't they done well in the past too?Was it just media hype or do you see this as a reason behind the team's success?
Haven't our players done well in the past many times?Seeing the bigger picture,things are the same,as they earlier were..

First of all dear Gurleen, the director of the movie had no idea of the game Hockey.
It wasn't realistic.
The coach can't have that kind of attitude . That kind of people aren't successful in India.

It was a good movie but lol, that will not work in real life.

yeah, i guess the movie was too comercial, the way the end goes.. but over all, worthed to see.. specially in bollywood :)

Chak De India Was Realistic Movie Because This Movie Show Us That We Are Not a Gujrati,Marathi,Tamil,Punjabi,Malyalam,B... First Of All We All Are Indian And Firstly We Should Thik About Our Country And After That Ourself.

well...i reallly liked the movie and the message behind it to. I feel the movie was realistic...no doubt. It depends how we see it! It carried not one, but many messages. It emphasised that we could surely acieve success with the help of team work and team cooperation. It showed how the lost dignity of a honest player was restored back. Moreover...it emphasised on the importance of HOCKEY as a game and that also women hockey. I didnt find anything unrealistic in the movie. After all, it is based on a true story!!...the only difference....that the it was the men hocjey championship..but they chose women havin another vision in their mind!...and moreover the real coach...the real person to whom this thing happened....whose name waas once known by no one...is now respected....all doubts have been cleared off him....Thats why I say...the mobie had many aims...leave apart the commercial success!!

Movie was very good. But the theme is not at all realistic and only imagination.
