I am legend...scary?

Look, I'm 13 but really squeemish and easily frightened. I am Legend looks good and I know its rated PG 13. Could anyone tell me if it's really scary or just mild. People who'v seen R movies since they where 10, I ADMIRE you, but please don't comment. I want easily scared people like me to say.

Ok, im 17 and I watched it with last night with my teammates. We're all varsity water polo players, big and tough and all that, but this movie scared the CRAP out of us. It's not the kind of scary where you go home and it haunts you at night forever, but there's a lot of shock value. Imagine things jumping out at you like in Jurassic Park, times 1000, all throughout a 2 hour movie, and really, really, loud. I would definitely say that if you want to watch this, wait till it comes out on DVD, and watch it with a low volume sitting far away from the TV. In a theater it's way to much. I had an adrenaline rush the entire movie. IT was all bad. Will Smith was good....but not good enough to make up for the horror aspect.

I would not say it is really scary. More creepy scary than terrifying. A couple of scenes will startle you and make you jump a little bit. But I don't think it will cause you any nightmares. Just took my 13 year old son to see it and he agrees with what I am telling you.

think if you scare easy..don't watch it. It IS a vampire-ish movie and the creatures are somewhat scary...but they don't dominate the entire movie. If you decide to watch the movie, go during the day so that when you get out of the movie it is light...being that the create things are "dark dwellers" ...I think that is what they are called and out at dark. (duh)

I think the movie is not gonna be scary go see it i think it gonna be kinda action packed

its not scary i would say its more suspense than horror, so there isnt much guts and blood its more parts that will make you jump, its not to bad i saw it last night and slept fine lol.

OMG - I think I'm the perfect answerer then!!! The movie was nothing like I expected, what with the infected people like zombies!!! Now, I'm kind of afraid to be home alone, paranoid, and hate the dark, but not like phsyco. I just saw the movie last night, and it was good and all but it scared the crap out of me! But, I do highly recommend it, you can see how being alone for so long can feel and how horrible an outbreak like that would be. Take some Kleenex, man up, and go see it - that's what I say! It was pretty good, but at some parts I felt like my heart was up in my throat and pounding so fast(I love that feeling!SUSPENSE), I jumped a lot and kept whispering 'oh my God' under my breath - haha.

It's not that scary. Some parts are suspenseful, and you'll be startled with bursts of unexpected action. The infected people are more creepy than frightening. Also, I found a completely empty and deserted NYC to be a little scary, just by itself. So to sum up, it's not blood and guts scary. just suspense, edge of your seat stuff.

aw i just got back from watchin that.. and overall, i'd say its more sad than scary.

yes it is a little creepy, i screamed once and its more of a .. suspense thing. its a really good movie, i think you'd like it. i hate scary movies, but i love em the same time.

I am 13 and I just saw it.
It is so awesome, you definitely should see it!
There are a couple freaky parts, but nothing too scary, I mean nothing really makes you jump out of your seat.
But you should see it, right now.
It is the best movie I have seen all year, seriously.

well when i saw the preview...i thought it would be eally scary...but hey...after i saw it... it was HELLA AWESOME! i went to go see with a group of friends...and on the scary part...i got to hide behind the guy i like. lol.

Hi five! I'm 11 and I have the same problem. I wanna watch it so bad, but I'm too freaked out. I've seen the trailer and I'd say it's a 50, 50.

The only reason it's scary is because the horror scenes surprise you. Like if they're just walking and suddenly something freakish pops out. I would scream for sure! It has a lot of surprising scenes.

it's not the AH! kind of scary it's the "what if that really happens" kind of scary. it's very emotional and sad yes! yes yes it's a must see. very sad and makes you think. and makes u wanna take life a little more serious.

I thought it was scary. There were a few scenes that were heart-pounding. But the overall theme of the movie is sci-fi/fantasy not horror. Loved it...

I'm 13 too, and I've seen scary movies(things like that one zombie movie like spawn of the dead-not the non-scary funny one) and I thought it was TERRIBLE!!! me and my friends only survived 45min in the movie theater before we left to see august rush. The zombie/ghouls are FREAKISHLY HORRIBLE!!!!
I think they'll give me nightmare tonight... I just saw the (only 45min long part) 2 hours ago and so I'm still horribly afraid of the dark....

I agree with Sophia and the guy who posted after her in saying DO NOT SEE THE MOVIE if you are a fellow "chicken" like me. I saw the movie yesterday afternoon and I had no idea what I was getting into. I asked my boyfriend what it was about and he mumbled something about zombies but for the first half hour I thought I was going to have a panic attack. It's so creepy horrible and I wish I never saw the movie. So take the advice of the dude who said to watch it on DVD.

The movie isnt rlly tht scary but there are a few pop ups tht make u jump and parts where the feeling is rlly terrifying overall the movie is pretty scary the creatures arent rlly tht terrifying comparing them to those of the descent and 28 days/weeks later, they actually look very animated but when they pop out at u they will make u jump. (be ready for the first flash back and wen will smith goes looking for his dog in the dark building towards the begiining of the movie.)
