Question about "I am Legend"?

Were u sad when his dog died? I was.

honestly, I've never even felt like crying while watching a movie until i saw that. That dog was the coolest dog ever. Early in the movie, Will smith risked his life to save sam by going deeper and deeper into the darkness looking for her. Later in the movie, sam risked her life for will by taking on the infected dogs. They made sam such an important part of the film. she was all will smith had and that dog was so loyal. Will smith passes out in the trap for hours and hours but sam is still there, barking away, concerned, when he wakes up.

The dog was incredibly loyal, and the way will holds her in his arms and finds out she's infectedd is so traumatic. He's forced to strangle her to death in his arms, with a zoom in close up shot on will's face, trying as hard as he can to not look down.

saddest thing i've ever seen in a movie....honestly. great great film.

I was sad too. GREAT movie though

i cried when he was choking him out and barying him.

Yeah, it was a touching moment, because they really made the dog feel apart of the movie. Plus it gave its life to save him. That made it more traumatic.

i was sad when Sam died...especially thew pat when it died in his arm. but i thought the ending was even more sad.

OMG yes i was gonna ask this question when i got home and i saw it today i sooo almost cried it was sad and it was also sad

when he goes up to the doll

"i promised my friend i would say hello to you, hello"

and he goes "please say hello to please say hello to me"

it was sad but i really liked the movie!

I don't usually cry in movies but I cried during that part. I think the saddest part was when he called her "Samantha" as he held her in his arms....ugh. Evidently, Will Smith loved her in front and behind the camera. He was so believable.

I'm tearing up again. I have two dogs...I love dogs.
