The 5th movie of harry potter is extremely boring?! why???

how long is the moive, i've been watching it fro two hours and nothing happens

They skipped a lot of the scenes that were from the book. If they added everything from the book, it would have been a 10 hour long movie.....

I understand what you are saying. The plot is just roaming around with barely any action. This apart from the other Harry Potters, is more drama. The plot leads to a dramatic ending. If you just closely watch the movie and see how the movie is going, then the ending will suprise you. The ending is really great. You have to watch through the information of the whole movie to get a suprising ending.

Hope you watch it again and see how it all leads to the end!

the movie is like 2 and a half hours long. I enjoyed the movie alot. But I've liked all of the Harry Potters.

harry potter and the order of the Phoenix isn't that long if you are enjoying it maybe you just don't like me...hmmm...well i was so exited when i saw the posters around December last year i forgot about it until they aired the previews on t.v. when it went off considering i saw it at 9 and it went of at like 11 to 12 i am so pumped for the next movie

no disrespect but maybe you just are big enough fan

I share your sentiments. I think the movie was rushed. If I remember correctly the book was around 600 pages so they have to crunch a lot of the things that make the book interesting and they cut a lot of subplots. I thought it was poorly wrote and directed. It is very common among popular adaptations. They figure most of the viewers know the jist of the story so they cut out fun characters or important parts. Like in the Da Vinci Code or the upcoming The Kite Runner. Hope you didn't pay for it. It's about 140 minutes.

you have to understand that they have to relook some stuff to ake 1st time watchers understand the overall plot......
...also there is alot of chracter set up scenes that are EXTREMELY boring so....what can u do?......just watch and endure the movie tarnishing the great book(happens all the time {most})

nonsense.d movie ain't boring at all.so exciting and interesting.not like gof-all bang,bang,bang!-to quote Emma.
ootp is darker, disturbing, deeper and more emotional.
