What qualities in a film ending do you find most appealing? Endings that don't tie everything up nicely that are a little bittersweet and leave you with a sense of hope for the protagonist with a bit of an open end that actually allows a viewer to live with the story after it has ended. Great question! You deserve a star! I like things to end unfinished. Although sad movies have their place, I just LOVE a happy ending! I do not like to be left hanging in any way. If I have to imagine my own ending, I'll write my own damn movie. I also prefer to feel good, or crying for happy reasons. Life is hard enough. I use movies for escapism. And there I want to be happy. I especially like triumphant endings. Good guy wins kind of stuff. |
