In the movie "Carrie" how come Carrie dies when the house is burning? |
I know how her mom dies (in teleknesis (sp?) Carrie has sharp objects flying in the air aimed at her mother) but was Carrie knocked out and then dies? Basically, after killing her mother and the house catching on fire, she is weak from the injuries she sustained from her mother trying to kill her, so she locks herself in the closet as punishment for her sins, which is what her mom always made her do whenever she "sinned" to repent (matricide, multiple homicide at school). She probably thought her dying was best for everyone. She pretty mcuh kills herself, lets the fire take her. Because she caught fire with the house. She locked herself in a closet with her mom and just burned. The fire grows and the house crumbles up. Carrie closed the closet door when the house started to fold up. I'm not sure if Carrie did that or a higher power. |
