Alien movie, I need help finding out which one it is?

Ok so it was some time in the 90's when I saw this movie but I could be from the 80's.

I sorta remember a few scenes from this movie and one of them was military guys pulling alien pods out of a lake. A woman falls asleep and the pod alien crawls in her ears and nose and she wakes up with enough time to pull it out. The ending was this military pilot is trying to save this brother and sister from the aliens and they are running to a helicoptor and get in and midair the girl realizes her brother is a cloned pod alien or something like that and has to push him out of the helicoptor, then the pilot and the girl look out of the helicoptor and the whole town is infested and I think in flames.

In the movie you couldn't fall asleep or the aliens would crawl into your head and take over you.

I agree that it's "Body Snatchers" (1993) with Gabrielle Anwar and Billy Wirth. It takes place on a military base, and her little stepbrother does have to be pushed out of the helicopter. The cast also includes Meg Tilly, R. Lee Ermey, and Forest Whitaker.

Marti and her father see that people are acting strange, and sooner they find that aliens are cloning the human beings in the base and invading Earth.

It's the second remake of Jack Finney's novel, "The Body Snatchers". I have read this many times and always get a kick about the part in which he describes what happened in Mattoon, Illinois~which is only about a half-hour drive to the north! My mom and dad even remembered the story Finney includes. The story still registers with people after more than half a century.

For me, the b&w original is the best version.

Ah... but there were more than two version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers... there was a third version made in 1993 starring Gabriella Anwar (Scent of A Woman). She plays the daughter of a military general and the military were all getting infected. There is a scene in it where the military infected soldiers are pulling pods out of the water. And in this movie, there was one trouble maker soldier who is running around with Gabriella Anwar and it ends with them flying in his helicopter. That is exactly the movie you are talkign about... but its just called BODY SNATCHERS.
