The movie the last King of Scottland how true was the part of the Dr.? What was his out come once he got home? Hollywood created the part of the doctor. He is fictional. Once the doctor gets back home, he tells the world his accounts of Idi Amin..If you saw it on DVD, I would suggest checking out the extras. They also explain that many parts of the movie was heresay...although Idi Amin was a monster..that is a fact. But in the extras you get a different perspective because they actually show people who knew him well and thought of him as a savior..then you see the others who knew him well and thought he was the devil incarnate. The doctor was a fictional character, although he was based on several real people who were close to Idi Amin. |
