Harry Potter-Movie 5. What'd ya think? |
I've read all the books and I look forward to seeing the movies when they come out. This one was good. It was fun and entertaining and all...but I just dont understand why they have to change the way things happened so much. Cho didnt rat in the D.A., her friend did and it wouldnt have made a difference in the length of the movie had they done the "Dudley Demented," scene the way it was in the alley. Why was there no mundugus? And Sirius's death. Man did they down play that. When I was done reading book 5 I was totally bummed out. The movie didnt do that at all. It just kind of blew over the whole sirius thing. Your thoughts? I agree! My bf never knows whats going on. I had to explain dementors to my dad, and the weasley scene and dumbledore/voldemort scene were so much grander in the book. The movie could have made it bigger.. not to mention I imagined Dolores Umbridge much rounder and squater. i totally agree i love the books and the movies are great but they miss so much out and they don't just miss out stuff they change it. they just expect that everyone has read the books so they know whats going on but my bf hasn't read the books and he had to ask me questions every 5 minutes to understand what was going on. I thought it was great, except i get really annoyed when things are different than the book. but other than that it was great!! I cant wait till half blood prince comes out!! for a movie, all of them are great, but for adaptations, they suck, BALLS. ignore the fct that you've read the books and enjoy the movies, then go and reread the books to get a better story. The part that disappointed me was the Weasley twin's rebellion; in the book it was spectacular-elaborate, well planned & executed. In the movie it was just a couple of fireworks and off they went. yeah expeect for all of that I LOVED IT!!!! |
