How does 'I am legend' end?

Well....I didn't mean for you guys to spoil it for me! I just wanted to know if it was good or not.

Will Smith dies, but he saves the human race.

Seriously?...

It ends happily in some sense and of course he is a legend.

Such a good movie!

Never have I seen a movie that scared me so much, but was also able to make me cry.

Not like the book. If you are a fan of the book, this is nothing like it. They shouldn't have even used the same name.

It is definitly worth watching. ONe of the best movies i have ever seen, It's sad, and at the same time happy. But, he dies, and hands the cure off to someone he hopes will cure the rest of the human race

Will pulls out a granade. There are two survivors, they're trapped in a room with one of the Night Crawlers..which seems to be healing. So then Smith takes out the blood, and says 'The cure is in her blood' he gave it to the older female survivor, and he ordered them to crawl into this safe, which they did.
Did i forget to tell you there are well over two hundred Night Crawlers out side of the room..
The two crawl into the safe.
Will pulls the granade.
Everything explodes.
The woman (Anne? i think) then goes with the boy (Ethan) to the Survivors Colony, and the human race is saved. That is how the movie ends.

Don't waist your money...Just wait till it comes out on DVD. My dad went and saw it and hated it. It left him on the edge of his seat feeling empty and waiting for more.

it was good, but still sad. he did kill himself for the 2 survivors
i heard a trilogy was being made from this thou
or at least that they wanted to.

the movie ends pretty much saying that we the human race will never cure cancer. and will smith dies trying to save the world. with the blood he got from the night crawler.
