Have they colorized Casablanca?

I wouldn't like classic B&W movies to be colorized, they should be left alone with their artistic lighting and everything. But if they have done it, do you where can I watch it?
I'm curious...

Yes, back in the late 80s, Ted Turner decided all b&w movies needed colourization. Silly man, as no one liked them and now it is seen as an abomination to the classics. Trust me, you don't want to see it - the colours are fake looking and the skin tones don't even look human.

Yes, it has been and that version has been almost universally deplored.

Why the Hell would they do that?!! The Black & White-ness gives it a old-time romance feel to it.

Curiosity killed the cat...and, yes, I know that satisfaction brought him back, but the truth is you really don't want to see the bastardization of this classic. This colorizing B & W films does not lend itself to the full experience of this classic film. The light and shadow are as much a charactor in this film as the actors themselves. Do yourself a favor and just enjoy the film in it's true form Black and White Film Noir.

But I completely agree with you, color detracts from the noirish light of Casablanca (and many other films).
