Best Death Scene in a movie?

My favourite has to be James Gandolfini in True Romance.
The guy get Stabbed in the foot with a cork screw,
Gets shampoo flung in his eyes and slashed with glass from the shower screen,
Gets batter over the head with a toilet cistern,
Has deoderant sprayed in his eyes and is set alight,
I repeatedly shot with a 12 gauge at close ranged and then has his head caved in with the end of the shotgun.

Pure Brutality.

Whats your favourite.

my favorites are when Glen (Johnny depp) gets sucked into his bed and blood spurts out thats on A night mare on elm street. And when the dectective on hannibal has his entrails pulled from his boby and is hung from a historical building. Little gross but fun lol

The last war scene in 300. Impressive!!

i like sad ones so titanic when jack dies and moulin rouge when satine dies

hostel 2, the girl hung upside dow above the bath while a naked women slashes her repeatedly with a big sword thing then appears to be getting of on this, i.e rubbing the blood all over her and looking rather aroused. Also in that film is the guy who gets his knob cut off and she feeds it to the dog!!! lol.

The big shoot out in The Wild Bunch.

For brutality in ghostship when the wire splits them in half and they fall to pieces..
and for emotionalness when he 'dies' in click
i was pure greetin haha
but im a girl so its okay :P

ox

any death in saw movies.they go out with no diginaty and with a bang

Paul Reubins, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, cause it made me laff!!

just about every death scene in the Final Destination & Saw movies. Saw is slow and brutal, FD is quik but devistating.

I like a lot of killing scenes but my favorite is in Hostle 2 when a girl was upside down hanging by her feet with a rope and a woman kept slashing her with a large knife then after she was all bloody she slashed her throat and a whole bunch of blood just gushed out it was awesome!

Ooo I quite like the opening scene in Basic Instinct.. bit of a *ahem* morbid question though eh?!

all the death in the three Final Destination movies
they are the most shocking and unexpected

Yoda dying in front of luke in return of the jedi. There is another Skywalkerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrahhhh.

Final Destention 2 Kid gets blown up by a gas grill and an arm ends up on the Table

Arnold Schwarzenegger in Commando. Throws a pipe that goes through the bad guy and it hits a steam pipe. Steam starts pouring out of the pipe and Arnie delivers a classic one liner:

"Let of some steam, Bennett."

Blowtorch scene in Hostle and then when she sees her face and jumps out in front of the bus.

the car crash in Death Proof, that's all I can think of at this moment...I'm sure there's better ones

Rasputin in Nicholas and Alexandra.

All time classic-- "Brave heart" ending.

I like the all of the killing scene in Cannibal Holocaust movie.

The sad scene in Harry Potter when Series Black dies. It's so sad

when vincent kills joey zaza in godffather 3. he chases him down on horseback, catches him in front of a store n shoots him on each side of his chest then finished him off w/ a head shot. the movie sucked but the death scenes were brilliant

Just about in every Lord of the Rings there was a good death scene. But I liked in the third one where the lady (sorry for not remembering her name) slays the Nazgul to save her father. Wicked scene. Or where the King runs off the cliff while on fire.

But again, LOTR provided a lot of cool death scenes throughout the triology.

One that stands out is in the first Friday the 13th, when the last surviving camper takes the machete and cuts the killer's head off with one swipe.

James Cagney in White Heat.

"Made it ma, top of the world!"

'nuf said!

Don't know if I have favorite but
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IYk0q_wIO...
sticks in the mind

the ones in "kill bill 1&2'' are pretty cool......... or in "resident evil" with that red laser thing..... and "saw".... and "final destination".......

For me it's when The Lover gets wheeled in to the restaurant on a trolley, and he's been cooked whole. This is from "The Cook, The Thief and Her Lover". One of the most stunning and disturbing films ever made.

ugh.
saw 1,2,3, &4 plus i'm sure 5 will be pretty brutal as well
i can't wait for it to come out!
also final destinations are pretty good.
& lion king. when mufasa dies. i cry every single effin time. :,[

Boromir, noooooooo

I liked the one in I think it was 'Saw 2' where the guys limbs and head get twisted right round, but my all time favourite is still 'The Omen' where the truck rolls backwards down the hill and a pane of glass slides off the back and slices the priests head off
