Does anyone know when The Lost Boys 2: The Tribe is coming out?

I know there has been a big uproar in the Lost Boys fan community due to the creation of a sequal that will never live up to the original, but I am willing to give it a chance. The last time I heard, it was just schedualed to come out some time in 2008, but no specific date was given out.

Still havent seen anything specific.

They posted an interview with the writer, and from what he is saying, the studio isn't even sure at this point if they want to release it in the theaters or have it go direct to DVD.
