What are possible ways that Lenny's (Guy Pearce) problem somehow represents our problems? when something is going wrong in our lives we tend to deny and pretend its not there. like how lenny pretended and "conditioned" himself to believe that his wife died during the night of the rape. wow good question I have seen the movie quite a few times ....ummmm well our minds play tricks on us we will believe what we want to believe and change things that we refuse to accecpt human nature is funny like that ... like in the end of the movie he kills dude and scratches out somthing on one of the photos and rewrites that guy is not to be trusted so that he can go on living his lie without knowing it ... |
