Looking for an old black and white movie/musical about a dead man and his daughter? |
I saw this black and white movie a long time ago and this is what I can remember of it: A criminal is killed and (I believe) goes to heaven and sees that his daughter is growing up and becoming a trouble maker so he goes back down to earth as a ghost (I think only she can see him but I'm not sure) and tries to steer her in the right direction. I think it was a musical but I'm not sure! Thanks!! As Cindy_Lu points, sounds like "Carousel"; the non-musical and black and white original is "Liliom". Glad to be of help. there it go? (whistle song) lil john - get low ...Into the Wild ...It's narrated by John Malkovich. I'm not sure if he's meant to represent any character in particular though. ...Well you managed to name every one of the movies I like even my favorite, "12 O'clock High" I have watched that film a bunch of times a year for years. Last time about two weeks ago.... Great movie. I haven't seen it in so long, though! Tracy Flick is a really great character. My favorite scene is probably when she's giving her speech for presidency, and she takes ... Its great. Take the time to watch it and you'll probably be inspired to go write something. haha. There is a book, its based off the movie - which is backwards for the norm. ...2/5/08, just in time for Valentines day ...yes, epic movie is kinda fun, they mix all the fun stories just like scary stories, hmm, but you know its stupid, but its fun. lol ... |
