"Blade Runner" Was Harrison Ford's character a replicant?

Ridley Scott says, "Why not?" Ford says "Absolutely not!"

Note: Paul Verhoven directed "Total Recall" as though the entire movie was just an implanted memory, starting with the "accident" at Rekall Inc.

Deckard daydreams of a unicorn (an imaginary animal which is totally real in his dream)
Gaff leaves a unicorn outside Deckard's apartment, where could he have seen it but in Deckard's memories? Deckard is a replicant.
However he believes himself to be real, therefore he is.
Ford is maybe being loyal to the character not the film.

NO,he searched for them and terminated them ...............

yes rick dekkard was a replicant...cuz only replicants can catch other replicants....

no because that one dude broke his fingers near the end replicants cant really break they're fingers

There's much discussion about this.

"This question causes the most debate among BR fans. The different versions of BR support this notion to differing degrees. One might argue that in the 1982 theatrical release, Deckard is not a replicant but in BRDC, he is. There is no definitive answer: Ridley Scott himself has stated that, although he deliberately made the ending ambiguous, he also intentionally introduced enough evidence to support the notion, and (as far as he is concerned), Deckard is a replicant"

The FAQ for 'Blade Runner' on IMDB is one of the better on the site. I really suggest checking it out and bearing in mind that there are varying versions of the story and contradictions to both sides.

This has been a debate ever since the movie had come out. Throughout the whole movie there is always that notion that Dekkard was a replicant because he is has such an intimate knowledge of how replicants work and think. His search is also another big clue.

As for a definitive answer, look to the eyes of the characters. Especially in low light.

It's pretty much left up to the audience to decide how they want to view Ford's character.

As for Total Recall, I thought it was all a dream from the beginning.
