As Arnies best friend (the football player) was driving away from (Arnies) home one night a classic song comes on & it goes something like "Well, as I walk along, I wonder...what went wrong with our love, that I thought was strong...."(Who does that song?-what's the name of it?)

It sounds like a womans voice.

"Runaway" by ... Del Shannon? Something like that. I'll look it up.
