How did the virus in I Am Legend spread so quickly? |
How did the virus in I Am Legend spread so quickly. Was a good portion of the human race infected from the virus being airborn, then attacking other humans giving them the virus as well? Or was it just from the virus being airborn all together and effecting the whole entire human race? apparently, you haven't read about the 1918 flu. Or watched Stephen King's the Stand. No insult intended. Wasnt the virus airborne?? to answer your question the most logical way i can.... The movie was based on the book by Richard Matheson. The virus or viruses were released in an "ABC" war--atomic, biological, chemical. There were astronomical casualties, and the survivors were infected. Whether it was just one virus or a combination of strains was never explained, just that the survivors (with one exception) were infected. It was a movie called "The Omega Man" with Charlton Heston back in the '70's. Winds from nuclear blasts would be tremendous, fallout would weaken the immune system, and it could be transmitted by personal contact, so we are allowed to use our imaginations. They said it was airborne and also they attacked others so body fluids maybe (slubber, blood) and they sure love to bite! |
