What does Opie mean? |
I like the name Opie from Andy Griffth show, what does it mean though? Oliver Paul, hence O.P. shortened to Opie, probably. Interesting question, I wonder if anyone really knows? Gave you a star anyway. Nickname!! given by dad!! Why does it need to have a meaning. It can also be a last name, lots of Irish folk shorten their names like that..... ex.
