Can there be a Transformers2 movie?

I saw at the end of the first one, starscream escapes. and also, what happened to those small transformers, like the xbox and the suv the girls were in, that the cube made when megatron hit it?

As much as I feel that a sequel wasn't neccessary (Megatron's Death, the destruction of the cube) Paramount plans to release the sequel in Summer 2009.

yes starscream escapes and optimus prime and his crew stay on earth which can lead to a sequel. it can be made and i'm pretty sure someone will.

Shoot - there are probably people willing to make new movies which ignore the events of the previous movies, so I would say one can never say never ... even if all the heroes and the entire planet would be destroyed, someone would figure out a way to write another script if there were enough money offered.

I hope they do make it a sequel that movie was ASWOME!!!

i could totally see a sequel..... the movie made a ton of money..... and theres bound to be more transformers "hiding among the stars".......

It's already being talked about. One thing the movie and the cartoon series have in common is they both milk every possible cent out of advertising. In the animated movie they killed off almost every main charactor so that they could push the next Transformers toy line. It's not unreasonable that they would do the same thing with the live action movie.
