Chronicles of the Mermaid 1: The She Creature~This is a horror film and rather gruesome. The mermaid is wonderful and murderous!
Mermaidia~based on Barbie dolls
Mermaids (cable movie)~This likely is the one you jave listed.
The Secret of Roan Inish~This actually is about the selkie legend, and no mermaid-type creature is shown. But, this is an enchanting film!

Splash with Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks or Mermaids with Winona Ryder and Cher...okay, so there is no mermaid in Mermaids, but Christina Ricci wants to be a mermaid. Does that count at all?
There are also some mermaids in the latter part of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.

I honestly didnt like any of them.. my anime geek sister though, recommends mermaid forest.

...sorta surprised that no one listed the very intriguing and facinating mid-seventies sci-fi T.V. series, entitled "Man from Atlantis"; this was actor Patrick Duffy's first foray into television, before he assumed a more popular T.V. character, in the nighttime drama, "Dallas"...

...if mermaid-like horror is the desired taste on your indiscriminate palate, might I recommend the horrific 2001 fantasy chiller, "Dagon", as well as the same years' remake/re-imagining of the classic, "She-Creature"...
