What's the highest number of movies you've seen in a year?

Best answer goes to the person who has seen more than I have. How many have I seen...

Well, I watch at least five movies every day, sometimes more. So, it's conceivable that I watch as many as 1,825 films in a year. I sometimes watch them more than once, so I figure that five a day is a safe average for me. I've started keeping a movie journal in a loose-leaf binder, and I jot down quotations and trivia as part of my research. So, watching films also is rather like a job to me~one that I love.

I have a book of filmographies well underway, with more than 2,000 files of actors and actresses. So, I collect information for that, too.

Yes, I'm a dedicated film buff. Though I can't get to a video store or the movie theater, I do have access to numerous movie channels, as well as free On Demand. So, I have great movie sources though not as much as I'd like. If I could figure out how to watch movies on-line, that would be wonderful!

EDIT: I thought that I should come back to note that I am on Disability and have a number of pain-causing syndromes, meaning that I'm often awake till dawn and get by on very few hours of sleep. So, I switch from film to film until I'm finally tired enough to perhaps fall asleep. Considering how many films are only 90, 100 or 120 minutes long, I can pack a lot of viewing into a day. When I can't find something to suit me, I watch one of my videotaped movies.

I thought I should explain why I have so much movie-viewing time on my non-busy schedule. I write letters, answer Y!A questions, read and carry on conversations while watching films. I have had to learn to concentrate on a number of things at the same time after 10 years in a newspaper office and 10 in Quality Control at a printing plant.

All told, I've seen between 115 & 130 movies thus far (I belong to Netflix- so I'm taking out alittle better than 2 a week...).

when i worked at a video store, i got 3 free rentals a day.
i have no life, so i actually rented 3 a day.

after i had worked there for a year, i had seen 1,095 movies in the course of the past year.
