I'm 13 years old and I want to try out bass guitar meaning that I dont want to spend an arm and a leg buying one if I dont even know if i want to pursue this instrument. So I was just wondering if there was a bass guitar that I could get under 250$? I do care about the sound quality but I will worry about that later if it is hard to find a quality bass guitar for under 250$. Thank you for any suggestions! Just go to your local guitar shop and see what they have. I often see Ibanez basses for less than $200. You can probably even get a "playable" used bass for just $100. In fact, if you visit the following site, you can get a new bass for less than $250 as well. Be sure to check out their scratch-n-dent or clearance section. I've purchased scratch-n-dents from these people and am still trying to find the flaws.
