What is a 16 + 4 organ?

I have a Yamaha keyboard with two presets in the organ section, one called a 16 + 2 organ and one called a 16 + 4 organ...I can't find information on these anywhere on the internet...are they just regular hammond organs? They have a really cool sound...

The Keyboard is a Yamaha PSR-225

The "16" and "4" originally referred to the length of the pipes in a pipe organ. If the pipe that sounds single note is 8 feet, then a 4-foot pipe would play the same note one octave higher than the 8-foot. Likewise, the 16-foot pipe would sound an octave lower. The "+2" is sort of like a piccolo... two octaves higher than the 8-foot.

Obviously, with a digital keyboard, these are simulated.

To learn more, just Google:
16+4 organ

or visit the largest church in your area that has a pipe organ. Some of them are truly magnificent. If that is not possible, just search "pipe organ" via Google or any other search engine.
