I like bands with good lyrics and heavier tones
please no pop/hip-hop/rap
the heavier the music the better as long as you can understand the lyrics

Well if you want heavy but you can understand it, Lacuna Coil has a softer metal band and is a female fronted band with a beautiful voice, as well as In This Moment.
And also Flyleaf is kinda punk rock if you would like them. well i like yellowcard, but their not too heavy well i just started listening to this band called dead poetic-there amazing..there songs..Narotic,Paralytic,stereochild is one of my favs and lots others..
Killswitch engage there awesome ther my 3rd or 4th fav band..my curse is the best
Quirtdrive there not as heavy as ther first cd..Ransom daires is good
