HELP me, im 15, It is very urgent?

I listen to my ipod 24/7 on full blast. On my way to school, during class, during lecture, the whole day. And when I get home I listen to it more. I have 15,000 songs on it and I have probably listened to each song like 50 times just this month cause I listen to my ipod so much. The problem is the headphones go straight to my ear and its loud and now my ears are hurted. Yesterday my left ear was bleeding a little but my right is okay. I'm starting to get these big headaches and everyone is telling me to leave my ipod. But its been 6 months and I love music and I cant stop listening. I cant study, eat, clean, e.t.c I cant do anything without listening to music. I'm afraid of silence but im scared i'll go deaf. Please help me because my ears really really hurt and even now im listening to very loud music and it feels good but once I stop the music my ears will burn.

OK um.... this problem goes WAAAAAY deeper than a "love for music" You should probably just, you know, mention this to a counselor at school. I really think you should mention this to a counselor at school. Holy crap.

i live for music and listen to it 24/7 as well, but if your ears are bleeding, that's not good. i don't think you need to stop listening to music...just don't listen as loud. you need to think of your health. also, if i were you, i'd get some different headphones...they might not be as good as the ones that go straight into your ear...but they will be better for you.

have you been using the same headphones the whole time? you probably have ear infections. go to the doctor and get some antibiotics, and buy some new headphones (that go over your ears, not in)

Could be because you're over using your ear drum... try listening to music that doesn't involve ear buds... a stereo or as loud as you do. The bleeding should be able to heal, IF given the chance... I'm not saying drop music... drop the loud music... or else the damage to you ears will be permanent...

You don't love music until your FINGERS bleed from playing your instrument. You don't know music until you slave away with scales, arpeggios, and every other component of music. You WILL go deaf, it's probably already too late. Sorry, but that's what happens. You should listen to people. Go to the doctor, quit being a poser. Sorry, but it's already too late.
