What do you think of Fender Dreadnoughts?I had one that I really liked. A cheapo. I have thick fingers, and the one I had had a wider neck than is standard on steel string guitars. It was nice, I played it around town for years. The frets lasted far better than on the Taylor I play now.
Most guitars for under, say, $600, and most certainly under $400, are all made by a few manufactorers in China, and Fender or even Martin just puts their name on the headstock. I had another guitar that was the exact same thing, though I forget who made it now.
I got a Takamine Jasmine for free as part of a promotion. I've seen it advertised on the net for $100. An S-35. All the wood is pine laminate, and the tuners hold only by metal to metal friction. But it sounds fairly good, and the fret tangs are hidden. If you are looking for a cheap guitar, I'd recommend it. They Rock! Please Best Answer! :( |
