I mean just listen to the **** (pardon my french) you hear on the radio!! For example, that veronicas song, what was the name of it.. ah yes, forever or something. That song and the Pink song had exactly the same melodic progression!
And what you hear today will be out of the 'popular songs' list and criticized as being 'old' in a matter of weeks!
I mean come on. A good song never dies. You might fall in love it now, then re-listen to it a few years later and still love it as much as you first did.
There is so much bullshit playing on the radio these days.. Artists putting something on the market for the sole reason of making money. What happened to passion man?! What happened to originality?! Thats why I dont listen to the Radio these days buddy. All the modern pop sucks. some of them I agree. The problem is that music companies pay people to write songs for these bands and the bands are contracted to take them. I gave up listening to pop music many years ago.......I only listen to classical music now. Downloads are killing the industry. No one has to make an entire album any more. The art is lost when any mouthbreather can find any song labeled any name they can misspell off some illegal or barely legal website.
Nobody wants to make a Pink Floyd - The Wall, or Queensryche concept album, or even a rock opera anymore. It's all about three minutes of misogyny and pitying your own ego. If it weren't for Three Days Grace, I wouldn't listen to anything out there made today.
If the RIAA wasn't so greedy, then albums would still be important. I hear you. The commercial airwaves are overloaded with junk these days. A few comments...it depends upon which radio stations you listen to for quality of music. It's true that after hearing a song over 1,000 times it gets "old". That doesn't mean it sux though.
My solution is to use WinAmp. You can get a lot of non-commercialized stations there.
I stream free music all day and half the night while I surf. Download WinAmp for free. Listen to ShoutCast Radio. Configure the player to: Min bit rate=96, Max bit rate=320. Save last view.
Search from thousands of free stations by type of music (genre). Only listen to stations that have multiple mirror servers. Only play stations that use five servers minimum if you can help it.
Set up the software so the player takes up the left corner of your screen. Open up the playlist by pushing the PL button on your player.
Open the Media Library by pushing the ML button on the player. The Play List should be placed to the right of the player so that it occupies the upper right area of the screen 鈥?next to the player.
The Media Library should go below both and take up the whole bottom of the screen. Position and stretch them until they take up the whole computer screen. You can minimize them once you start playing your station. Keep surfing with the best music ever in the background.
It鈥檚 free and it鈥檚 the best. You can perform an alphabetical search for types of music to play by music category.
