Guitars???

A guy I like loves guitars and I have no clue about them what are some things about guitars and some guitar language so I no what he's talking about....

OK. the guitar has 6 string, a chord is when you play all 6 strings at once, but picking is when you play one string at a time

there are some metal bars that are set perpendicularly (I don't know how it's spelled LOL) with the strings, those are the frets.

to play a string, if you want to make it sound a higher note, press a higher fret and play that string

I can't tell you everything about the guitar! say something specific

but I'd sugest you can tell him to teach you something. that seems like a good idea to me

look just play guitar hero they will teach you some language and some good songs to play on the gutair. or let him teach you he will most likley take pleasure in that.

Best recommendation I have is tell him you don't know anything about guitars and you want to learn. Have him teach you. "Very good relationship builder. Be honest with him don't try to impress him.

Guitar loving guys are cool. But it is possible he might love his guitar more than you. Why don't you learn to sing so that you two can be even closer.

The long part is called the NECK The things that go cross ways about an inch apart are the FRETS. The thing at top where the strings go to the tuner knobs is called a NUT. When you place your fingers on certain strings at certain frets & strum,that is a CHORD The thing that is used to pluck the strings is a PICK

Just ask him to teach you how to play a few chords. Most guys will trip over themselves to get a chance to teach a nice girl how to play.

There are many kinds of guitars. It can be played by classical or the usual one. There are acoustic and electric. You can play it by using chords or notes (for classical). You can study guitar by yourself because it's pretty easy. All you need to do is browse the Internet or buy a book that has chord chart.
