Why is Captain Picard always wrong?

Picard is cool, don't get me wrong. But he's wrong in almost every situation. Whenever the Enterprise gets into some time loop situation, he always says "we must proceed normally, we can't start second guessing ourselves now." What a maroon. If you know disaster is waiting for you on the path you're following, turn around and avoid it. What do you think?

Yes that does seem to happen....But you have to admit, he gets more women than Kirk ever did.
