Is working in NCIS or CSI as exiting as in the tv show.Do they take in computer engineers>?

I'm a die hard fan of NCIS and CSI. I'm really interested in joining one of them .But I want to take up an engineering degree also probably in computer science. So is it possible for me to get a great job in NCIS or CSI ?Also what are the actual requirements to get in as a field agent?I'd also like to know about the pay and the prospects? Is it possible for a naturalized US Citizen to join these organizations? Thank You for your Help.

Since being a part of NCIS, Navy Criminal Investigative Service, is linked to the military, it might be easier for you to become a CSI. As for what degree to go for, I would actually suggest one in computer/information systems analysis and combine that with forensics. That way, you could start off like Archie in the lab and possibly move on from there once you've got your foot in the door. You can find more information about about NCIS, the division not the show, and becoming a CSI by doing a google or dogpile search on the subjects.
The only reason I suggest CSI over NCIS is because you are a naturalized citizen. NCIS does allow NCs to be Special Agents, but you may have to jump through a lot more hoops to get your clearance. I don't know how old you are, but NCIS has more age restrictions than CSIs do. I am putting two links in here for you. One is for NCIS and the other is a CSI one.
