BID TV 拢1 Mega-Drop - Is it a con?

I have pre-bid over 拢20 on the BID-TV website for items and even though they have sold for 拢1, I am not amongst the winning bidders. Yeah odd - anyone else had this problem?

I'm a member of bidtv and pricedrop say they had 10 items the 10 lowest bids get the item see details below.

Pricedrop is better has you have a better chance i aways got bid items off them so try that instead at

The postage is 拢7.50 but at least you get what you want.

b) A qualifying bid in a falling price auction is one which fulfils all the terms and conditions set out herein including without limitation that the bid received is at or above any reserve price specified by sit-up, is received and processed by sit-up at a price which ensures the buyer is one of the first X buyers, where X is equal to the number of products available in that particular auction. For example:- if 10 products are available, then it is a qualifying bid if, once the bid has been received and processed, it is within the first 10 qualifying bids for that auction.

c) All bids are accepted on a strict time-controlled basis. Those bids received and processed first by sit-up will be deemed to have been received earlier than any subsequent bids. This may mean that the first customer(s) to have their bids accepted at a particular price will have a qualifying bid and other customers seeking to place a bid at the same price (or lower) at a later time may not be able to do so as the number of products left is zero or the auction has been terminated for some other reason.

about a tenner for the call and postage.

I think those auction tv channels are all a bit dodgy, they charge up to 拢1.50 for a phone call, even if you don't get to buy the item, that can't be fair.

i doubt if anyone gets any things.just takes your cash big fix going on there.

I personally think so - but only because of the extortionate postal prices - they are ridiculous.!
