I really want to be an actress.. but no1 seems to want to help...?

i have a really rubbish agent that took my money andnow ignores my calls, doesnt get me work, so i am applying to many more!
i go to a drama group and a youth theatre, i have done theatre work and sooo many workshops, but no1 will help me achieve my dream,
does anybody out there work for a reputable agency and could help me out?
or anyone that can help me in general,
i live in leeds and i am 13..

My parents back me 100%, my mum and dad take me all over for theatre performances,
and i know im only young but i fear if i leave it much longer, no1 will want to know, i have backup plans though..

you're very young.
give it some time. find another agency.
keep dreaming and never give up.

Don't bother with an agent at the moment, they are all out to get your money, you have been conned so don't go there again. Never join an agency who wants money first. Register on www.starnow.com & you can apply for your own work & audtions. I'm registered on this site & have hads lots of work even in the very beginging when I had no experience.

13? well I say stay in school and after you graduate then you could pursue it further, but stay in the groups, just dont plan your entire life around it
what do your parents think?

being an actress is though. but i think the fastest way is to sign up for pageants or acting compeititions. if you have talent (i believe in you!!!), you will definitely be picked.

Hey! You are never too old...Some make it early some late. It actually helps to be a starving actor/actress... Keep going!

we all want to do things in our lives....its not about who will 'help us' its more important that we keep on trying and working out whether we are actually fit for the dream we have.....just because we want it doesn't mean that everyone has to bend over backwards to make it happen...you're doing all the things you can...presumably you are doing it because you want to and you are getting enjoyment from it...either keep going or re-evaluate whether you may not be quite good enough for this career at present....

You need a casting couch

Maybe your talent lies elsewhere. You seem to be able to string words together, maybe you should try writing. You never know, there might be something else for you apart from acting.
