Well I confess, the original one - William Hartnell. I used to go past his big country house nr Mayfield Sussex and got so excited when I actually spotted him from my Dad's car!

But today, I think David Tennant is dishy, but he has starred in a lot of progs where he's been naked, so I do question his suitability gor Dr Who

Yep, I've been a fan for over 20 years. Like most of thte Doctors, though Jon Pertwee probably least of all. Favourites would include Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Colin Baker, but outright winner for me would be Christopher Ecclestone, who not only re-established the character in the pubilc image, but added whole new dimensions never seen in it before - hurt, bitterness, family, pain and love - to establish the character for a whole new generation of fans.

Can't make up my mind between Tennant and Eccleston. Both very good in different ways!
But I do agree that Torchwood is the best spin off I have ever seen! Pure class!

Got to say Tom Baker is the best.Christopher Ecclestone was also superb,adding a kind of darkness to the doctor.Tennant seems to have the right kind of 'quirkiness'.

ive only seen one episode b/c my dad LOVES it but i watched the one with the guy from Harry Potter

but this episode was so awesome it was those stone angels that could only move when you didnt look at them, and if they got you they send you back in time

Tom Baker, Jon Pertwee were the best two Drs,the last too have been too comic.Also the writers havemessed up by saying the Dr was the last timelord,then bringing back The Master.Who was terribly played.Script writers get back to basics!

I don't, the acting is bad, and in the televised versions, the backdrops and special effects make Star Trek: TOS look good, and that includes the modern series, all that budget, and they still can't make it look good.

I say they axe the show, and give the budget to finally produce Red Dwarf IX and Red Dwarf: The Movie, at least that looked good in the final series when they got really creative with the budget, and the especial effects looked good, (and of course, the return of Normon Lovett).

I have lived threw a few Dr Who's and David Tennant is my favourite he brings sparkle to the role a bit of humour and mischeviousness as well as serious moments. Dr Who has always been a must watch for me but David Tennant makes it a I am staying in and not missing it time.

Can't wait till the Christmas special and the new series after that. Will have to watch Torchwood too love Captn Jack!
