Vegetarians and Vegans: What's wrong with eating meat?

And if I am supposed to respect the fact that you don't eat meat, why can't you respect my choice to eat meat?

I personally don't eat meat because I love all animals and I find it hypocritical to eat something that I say I love. I respect your choice to eat meat, and everyone else's. I don't agree with the vegetarians who act like Jehovah's witnesses forcing their ways down peoples throats. People should do what makes them happy, whether it be eating meat, or being a vegetarian.

Vegetrians: don't eat meat but eat animal products

Vegans: don't eat any animal products or meat!

Actually I have no idea why I don't like eating meat. It's like I flinch away from it every time I see it. It makes me sick--I guess I kind of picture the dead animal, yuck=[. I don't care if other people eat it though--someone's got to eat the meat.

I'm almost totally vegetarian for health not ethical reasons. Plant based protein is easier to digest. I feel much better not eating meat. And I'm not 'full of myself'. I don't preach to anybody. When somebody is curious and asks me questions about it we discuss it. Everybody has the right to eat whatever they want without feeling that they have to defend themselves.

Cos a cow or pig with no functioning brain will die & will want welfare or something if we don't eat them.....they like sitting in crap & they can be productive members of society, as Veggies would have you believe!!! To each is own & they should do their thing but Veggies should mind their own business!!! If you don't want to have a cow, that's cool but stay out of my life & don't tell me what I should eat!!!

I don't eat meat because I don't like it and I am lactose intolerant. I do wear leather so I am not a vegan.

I could care less about what you eat, and I think it is a total misunderstanding on most peoples' part to think vegetarians and vegans are against you just because they don't eat meat. I think most people have more of a live and let live mentality.
