Yes they tend to be. They are very aware of their mortarlity so they are not into abstact much. They want to make sure they cement their foundation firmly in the chosen career and raise a solid family who will be the pylon of society worthy to be proud of.

I was a construction worker. Now I'm a neuroscience student. The only things construction workers tend to be are tired, sore, and dirty.

They are usually straightforward people that aren't afraid to tell it like it is.
An abstract thinker probably won't do too well in the construction trade .
